A shopkeeper on Chicken Street in Shaur-e Nau proudly displays his
goods. Chicken Street was the place to purchase chickens in the past,
now it is the place to buy rugs and other souveniers. Chickens can still
be bought a short distance up the street where it turns into Flower
Street, where yes, flowers are still sold.
